It all started nearly 20 years ago when I began making and decorating birthday cakes for my two sons. What started as a fun way to celebrate their special days quickly turned into baking cakes and treats for family and friends. I did that for many years while the boys were growing up, then took some time off to go back to school.
After school and starting my career, there wasn’t much extra time outside of work and family for baking. I still made their birthday cakes, but not much else. A few years in, life finally settled down, and I found my way back to sharing my baking with others.
A few years ago, I decided to try making macarons—and I was hooked right away. These delicate little treats completely stole my heart, and I knew I wanted to share them with others. They can definitely be a little finicky, but I love the challenge.
Now I love being able to share my passion for baking and bring a little extra sweetness to those around me.
